 Search engine optimization, also known as SEO, is a popular form of search engine marketing. Its main objective is to improve site ranking in various search engines.

 There are three ways that can help people get more click throughs on google.
  1. focus on content
  2. optimise your title tag and write a description - Google tracks how many are viewing your page and who is clicking through. You have to include the Key word in your title, they have to flow nicely and be easy to read otherwise they will not be appealing.
  3. Use Google Search console - it gives you a tool as to how to increase the amount of searches your page is related to.  google search console shows you how many are seeing your listing and clicking through, and who skips past your listing, finally it shows your CTR (click through rate)
For my website I will need to make sure I have the correct words and phrases as otherwise I could end up like the majority of the pages on the internet. That get less than a 5% click through rate
  • has to flow
  • if it has too many keywords people might bounce off your page 
  • The title for the website my stand out other wise it will look to generic and will not be appealing to the viewer
  • For my website "the word" I could be using synonyms for the word "word" this in turn will generate a higher click through rate as it will have a wider range of words and phrases that link the word "word"

My website will have a number of relevant phrases that relate well to the website, for example there will be phrases linked to thriller films and interactive productions. Ensuring high click through rates.

H5P has enabled me to create hotspots on my website which lead to bits of text that present teasers about the film. This works very well as it leaves the viewer in a state of suspense this relates very well to my production as it is thriller genre. These bits of text can help the narrative as they can also hint at the plot to help engage the reader and encourage them to watch the film. Bits of footage can also establish what the film could be about and the what the viewer is likely to see if they watch the film. Having the hotspots also demonstrates the type of film I am producing, by adding interactive content such as hotspots puts emphasise on the fact that I have made an interactive production.

Both wix and weebly share the same quality of creating websites for the customer. Both websites have similar home pages, Weebly has a rather bland expression  front page whereas Wix has a more visually pleasing. Both the websites have a button on the front page that will take them straight to the login page that will allow you to either create an account or login to your current account. Once you have logged in to Wix you will then be given the option to create a web page with a number of dfferent templates. You can design it as you like adding a number of different mechanics to the sight for example pictures and videos. Weebly offers you a range of website templates to help you start your website. These templates can also have different themes and different styles depending on what you actually put on your website.
