A typical show consisted of one big celebrity name, a comedian sitting in the aforementioned comedy chair and a well-known musical personality who would all be introduced after the monologue.
The shows primary colour associated with the show is red this is due to the show being aired on BBC One which known for its red colour scheme. The dress code associated is very smart. To contrast this the host Graham Norton has a very relaxed and takes a very jovial approach when conversing with his guests.
Generally the show sticks to very basic shots that consist of long shots of all the guests in the shot and occasionally a close up of guests when they speak. Similar to the picture above all of the people generally are in frame for the majority of the show when siting down.
Being a talk show, this means that shots generally last for a long time, however occasionally some shots may be cutting back and forward to focus on the host and then the guests.
The show consists mainly of a very deep depth of field this is so everything in shot is focus this is to make sure that the audience can see everything clearly this is so then audience can have a general view of everyone. There is very little movement with the cameras as there needs to be a general focus on all the guests as well as Graham Norton.
